“As a U.S. Army veteran who served 10 years in Iraq and Afghanistan, I understand how hard it can be to transition back into civilian life.
This center is named in honor of my two battle brothers, Lewis and Lyon, who were killed in Afghanistan when our vehicle hit an IED. I survived, but I will never forget them—or the many veterans who return home still fighting silent battles.
At Lewis and Lyon Center of Hope, we provide safe housing, daily care, and life skills training to help veterans rebuild their lives with dignity and independence.”

Lewis and Lyon Center of Hope, LLC is a licensed assisted living and transitional care facility dedicated exclusively to veterans. We provide stable housing, personalized care, and structured life skills training to help veterans transition to independent living.
To provide safe, professional housing and recovery-focused services for veterans, giving them the stability, resources, and confidence to return to civilian life successfully.
We are building a community for veterans—a place where they can heal, learn, and thrive together. Our long-term plans include:
● A centralized veteran housing complex
● Classrooms for skills and job training
● A barbershop/salon and wellness services
● Graduation ceremonies to celebrate veterans completing our program
The Lewis and Lyon Center of Hope was founded to honor two extraordinary heroes and dear friends—Sgt. Adrian J. Lewis and Capt. David L. Lyon—who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and character are the heart of everything we do.
Sgt. Adrian J. Lewis, a devoted husband, father of four, and proud U.S. Army soldier, was killed in action on March 21, 2007, during combat operations in Ramadi, Iraq. On his third deployment, Sgt. Lewis exemplified the Army values of loyalty, duty, and selfless service. Known for his strength and kindness, he was not just a soldier, but a beloved friend and family man who left behind a legacy of love, honor, and unwavering commitment to his brothers-in-arms.
Capt. David L. Lyon, a U.S. Air Force officer and former track and field champion, was killed on December 27, 2013, when his convoy was attacked by a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device near Kabul, Afghanistan. Capt. Lyon was known as a servant leader, a mentor, and a man of extraordinary character. A fearless competitor and an inspiration to those around him, his leadership and selflessness continue to influence the lives of those who served alongside him.
The founder of the Lewis and Lyon Center of Hope served alongside these men and survived the same battles that claimed their lives. Their memory—and the memory of so many others who never made it home—fuels our mission. Many veterans return from war still fighting silent battles, struggling to find stability and purpose in civilian life. We are here to change that.
At Lewis and Lyon Center of Hope, we are dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment where veterans can heal, rebuild, and reclaim their lives. Through individualized care, life-skills training, and community support, we help veterans transition from homelessness and hardship to stability, independence, and hope. Every life we help is a tribute to Lewis, Lyon, and all who served with honor.
